For six years Bulgaria is in the EU and as a citizen of the country I think it’s time to value the pros and cons. Unfortunately, my opinion is that Bulgaria definitely lost from being part of the union. Not that we shouldn’t be there at all, but we had to be there only when we were fully ready.

What happens now? Bulgaria receives money from EU funds, but they were stolen from certain people. At the same time each year we pay nearly one billion levas, which are taken from the ordinary people. We also expected foreign investment, but sadly we didn’t get anything like that.

That’s why I think that for us it would be better for to prepare first and only when we were ready to join.
